Lythien - WoWHead Legion Art Contest Entry

Her name is Lythien.  


There was a last name, but she left it behind after she made her choice....to fight demons, with the power of demons.  

 Though her friends and family might not understand it, her heart is still of Azeroth, and the Kaldorei. She never lost her faith in Elune, nor in her brethren. But Legion's arrival is imminent, and she felt she had to do more than pray. But to gain the power to fight...in the name of Elune or not...Blessed by Elune or not...she had to commit taboo. 

Now she fights the same enemies that all of Azeroth shares. She doesnt do it for power, or vengeance. She does it to protect the world she loves with all her heart, and the friends and family that don't understand her decision. Her blades crack over time, and within those tiny fissures in the fel-crystal are the leaves of what she still considers home. Upon the center of the blades, her faith in Elune and of light conquering dark still shines.

This is my submission to WoWhead's Legion Art Contest ( www.wowhead.com/news=249189/wo… ) . They requested a brand new wallpaper for entry, atleast 800 X 600 (this is considerably larger, lol). I've definitely hit the 45-50 hour mark on this, and haven't played ANY of my games for more than a few minutes  a day since the contest opened >.< So I'm relieved to finally put the finishing touches on it and submit it
